There are six kids in Bea's class (the Dinos) who celebrate birthdays in May, so rather than fill the month up with back-to-back kids parties, we all got together and did a big one. We rented a place out on one of the nearby islands where we could stage the event, and so the kids could have a bit of adventure on the ferry ride out.
Hans volunteered to make fish soup, but getting all his gear out to the island would be a challenge, so he borrowed this freight bike from Veloform. One of these things would be really nice to have around...
Madeleine and Bea went out later.
Upon arrival there was a "quiz walk" as is typical in Sweden.
There was a smörgåsbord and a big pot of soupe de poisson to nourish the hungry masses (over 70 in total!).
The kids made up their own activities with the balloons. Then they posed on a half-pipe.
It wouldn't be a kid's party without a "fisk damm".
Hej då!
