Happy Halloween!

Today Bea participated in an activity provided by the "American Women's Club" here in Göteborg, a lantern made from tissue paper, glue, and old glass forms. We met some American women (including a newcomer from Granger of all places) and the kids had a lot of fun,

Our friend Michaela hosted the activity at her workshop space over on Hisingen. They procured some dry ice somehow to make the traditional witches' brew.

When we got home, scary neighbor Harry came by and the kids did a little local Trick-or-Treating.

Hans is building a sawbench from salvaged lumber, it's almost done.

Midweek occurances

Bea's loose tooth finally dropped and Helen dropped off a bag of much-missed canine apparel from the Viper era. 

The bookmatched tooth was lost at the puppet show in Paris.

Halloween Spirit

We are getting into the Halloween spirit here in Göteborg, with darker nights and spooky happenings.

Bea made a batch of ghostly cupcakes.

Then she set about hollowing out the pumpkin we brought home from today's errands.

Gaspard was fascinated by the process, and loved stealing bits of pumpkin detritus from the table.
