We are all getting into the Christmas spirit here. Today is Lucia, the Swedish pre-Christmas pageant of candles and song. And Friday the 13th, so there's that.
Bea and Hans have made a couple of trips into town, to look at the decorated display at NK, the big department store...
...and to get a wishlist off to Santa.
Then yesterday, we got a tip on a place to get a good tree at a good price...
...and got it up in the living room with lights and its first ornament: an ice skate Madeleine found for Bea.
When Hans dropped Bea off at school today he got roped into the school's Lucia celebration in the gym:
Bea's class didn't sing, these were the middle schoolers.
