The family packed in the Megane and took off Saturday morning for a quick road trip weekend around central Sweden.
We stopped at Vadstena church on the way to Örebro. This medieval church was an important outpost in the establishment of Christianity in Sweden. Many historical figures are buried here, but sadly we couldn't go inside on this visit.
In Örebro Bea climbed her favorite tree...
...and Gaspard loved running around the garden.
On Sunday morning we drive to Norrköping, a town we'd never visited.
There was a "bike day" in the "Museum of Work" pictured here in the background.
Everyone we've talked to has said "Oh yeah, Norrköping. I've never been there." But this building is one of the most famous in Sweden.
On the drive home we stopped at Gränna for polkagris candy of course...
