On Friday we had an "After Work" birthday party for Bea's friends and their parents. This was really the only time we could squeeze a party in, but we managed to have a good time. I'd made a big pot of spaghetti sauce, as per Bea's request, and cooked 2 kg of pasta in our big pot on the balcony.
Alice came over and played Mr. T.
Bea chose to wear her blue dress.
I'd made a fishing pond thing for the kids to play with, and gave them trash to recycle as well as Pez and other candy. The last thing they pulled up was a message in a bottle, with a treasure map leading to a hidden box in the courtyard filled with soap bubble bottles and potato chips.
Bea blew out her candles...
And Saksia, Harry, and Erik enjoyed the cake Madeleine made.
