Pepparkakor and the Nowlins

Our tree is compact this year.  Since we'll be leaving soon, it seemed unnecessary to get a big tree, but we still wanted something...  This one fits nice in our window niche.

Bea and I baked gingerbread when we got home today.  I'd made the dough ahead of time, and we rolled them out and made the shapes she chose: a fellow and a lady, and an angel.

Decorated and ready for devouring.  We made a cookie plate with four of these plus our other Christmas goodies and took them over to the Nowlins, who made us enchiladas tonight.
